Maroussi wins the Saporta Cup

The Greek team defeated French team Chalon 74-72 in the Warsaw final and becomes the fifth Greek team to win the trophy. Vangelis Vourtzoumis becomes the first Greek player to win 3 European trophies with three different teams (The Cup Winners with Aris in 1993, the EuroLeague with Panathinaikos in 1996, and the Saporta with Maroussi in 2001).
