ΚΑΤΑΛΟΓΟΣ ΔΡΑΣΕΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΕΚΔΗΛΩΣΕΩΝ

Τα παιδιά φτιάχνουν κούκλες των ηρώων του 1821 από χαρτί. Δίνουν μορφή στα έργα τους μέσα από τη δική τους ματιά και παίρνουν έμπνευση από τα κατορθώματα των πρωταγωνιστών της Ελληνικής Επανάστασης. Σκοπός είναι να δημιουργηθεί και ένα διαδραστικό ηλεκτρονικό βιβλίο, εκτός από την δια ζώσης εικαστική έκθεση, το οποίο να διατεθεί σε κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο. Όλο το υλικό θα διατεθεί δωρεάν και η πρόσβαση στην έκθεση θα είναι ελεύθερη. Η έκθεση θα βρίσκεται στις 11 και 13 Ιουνίου στη Δημοτική Πινακοθήκη Πειραιά.

A talk in Greek based on Stratis Myrivilis’s radio programme and unpublished archival material on 1821 held by the speaker, Myrivilis’s granddaughter. • 14 December 2021 Dr Philip Mansel, Levantine Alternatives: Greeks in Constantinople, Smyrna and Alexandria after 1821. A lecture about how the Greeks who left the new kingdom and went to live in these cosmopolitan cities contributed to the development of the fledgling kingdom. • 16 December 2021 Charicleia George Dimacopoulou. Τα πρόσωπα της Ιστορίας. Η Ιστορία έχει πρόσωπο Faces of History. History has a face. A talk in Greek on the new edition ‘History has a Face’ and focus on the importance of the testimony this book on the period of Otto’s reign, both historically and socially and the artistic value of the portraits.

Πρωτότυπο θεατρικό έργο της Ιωάννας Berthoud-Παπανδροπούλου, καθηγήτριας του πανεπιστημίου της Γενεύης, παρουσιάζει την πορεία του Καποδίστρια από την καθοριστική συμβολή του στο Σύνταγμα της Ελβετίας, ως την εκλογή του ως Κυβερνήτη του Ελληνικού Κράτους και τη δολοφονία του. Οι σκηνές διαδραματίζονται σε ευρωπαικές πόλεις του 19ου αιώνα με συμμετοχή ιστορικών προσωπικοτήτων, όπως ο Τσάρος Αλέξανδρος Α΄, ο Μέττερνιχ, η Ρωξάνδρα Στούρτζα, ο Ευνάρδος, πιστός φίλος, Ελβετός φιλέλληνας και ευεργέτης της Ελλάδος και οι Έλληνες ήρωες Αλ. Υψηλάντης, Θ. Κολοκτρώνης και Πετρόμπεης Μαυρομιχάλης.

Commemoration event that will take place on the island of Hydra on June 12-15, 2021. During the event, two murals in honour of the Greeks from Hydra who fought in the Argentinian war of independence (1810-1818), Colonel Νicholas Jorge Colmaniatis and Lieutenant Peter Samuel Spiro, will be presented to the public. The murals are creations of the Argentine artists Juana Page and Pablo Alberto Ramirez and the event is organized by the Embassy of Argentina in Athens in collaboration with the Municipality of Hydra.
