The Football Clubs of Athens, Piraeus and Macedonia – Thrace, after a three-hour deliberation, agree on the sport's governing body. The first elected officials of EPO were Ap. Nikolaidis-President, N. Caberos-Vice-President, Evangelos Stamatis- Secretary-General, A. Kambouropoulos- Treasurer and Per. Petrakos- member. Apostolos Nikolaidis translated the regulations of the French football federation into Greek, and this served as a compass for EPO to draw up its own regulations. In 1927 EPO becomes a member of FIFA, and in 1954 it becomes one of the founding members of UEFA.
