After 1912, Greece adds another gold medal to its palmarès. It is won at the Rome Olympic Games, in Sailing (Dragon class) by Crown Prince Constantine, Odysseus Eskitzoglou and Giorgos Zaimis, with the boat "Nireas." It is the first gold medal won by Greece since the one won by Tsiklitiras in the standing long jump in Stockholm, 1912.
