AEK wins the Saporta Cup

Many of the 1968 Cup winners are present (Giorgos Americanos, Christos Zoupas, etc.) when AEK defeats Kinder Bologna 83-76 at the Lausanne FIBA Saporta Cup final match. Dusan Ivkovic is the coach, and the players are Hatzis 16 points, Koronios 11, Moorsep 15, Bui 15, Kakiouzis 12, Tsakalidis 7, Dikoudis 7, Hansel, O'Sullivan. It is an unofficial rematch after the Greek team's defeat by the Italians in the 1998 EuroLeague's final match.  The victory is celebrated in Kallimarmaro, where, in 1968 and in front of 80,000 spectators, AEK became European Cup champion for the first time!
