Georgios Ivanov, a swimmer and water polo player of Iraklis Thessaloniki, is arrested because of his involvement in the resistance against the Germans (he is considered a top saboteur for the Allies under the alias "Bolbi"). He pretends to be insane and is taken to "Aiginiteio Hospital" with the help of the founder of Panathinaikos, Giorgos Kalafatis, and also Dimitris Giannatos, from the basketball department of the "greens." He escapes but is betrayed, arrested, and executed. To honor him, Iraklis Club names its basketball court after him.
