Giannis Kouros enters the Guinness Book of Records

Giannis Kouros covers 200 km in 15:11.10 in Montauban, France, and secures a place in the Guinness Book of Records. This Arcadian athlete (born in Tripoli) belongs to a unique "brand" of athletes – artists. A top ultramarathon runner writes poetry at the age of 12. In high school, he studies Byzantine music. In 2005 and 2011, he replicated the achievement of Pheidippides, when he ran the "Athens - Sparta - Athens" distance.
