Olympiacos wins the Euroleague title

The Greek team wins the title for the second time in its history. At the Final Four held in Istanbul, Olympiacos defeats CSKA Moscow 61-62, eliminating the 19-point difference in the last 12 minutes. The team coach was Dusan Ivkovic, and the players Hines, Antic 7, Spanoulis 15(2), Dorsey, Keselj 3(1), Papadopoulos, Printezis 12, Papanikolaou 19(3), Mantzaris 3(1), Sloukas 4(1). The Spanish media is talking about the "hand of God," referring to Giorgos Printezis' winning shot – chosen as the Euroleague logo – thanks to Vassilis Spanoulis' clever assist at the end of the Final. Vassilis Spanoulis is named MVP of the tournament.
